draft scheme was published in the local press. This
was co-ordinated with trusts, agencies and the board

responses were received and the summary of comments
are listed in appendix 3. |

a seminar to discuss the draft scheme was sent to all
known community and voluntary groups. This was assisted
by the Community Development and Health Network organisation
and was jointly organised with the other three councils.
This was attended by the 39 individuals listed in appendix
4. Oral comments were accepted from these individuals
as their response to the consultation. The comments
are listed in Appendix 5. |

No requests were received
to supply the draft scheme in alternative formats. |

Where these were applicable,
suggestions for improvement of the scheme have now been
included in the revised document prior to being submitted
to the Equality Commission. |
